Sometimes, DIY is actually easier...

I figure they're mostly all volunteers, so I make allowances and I'm grateful for what I get. That said, this forum is essential.

Re: Sophos reinstallation on official FHC computers

Open Sophos and click on “About” and you’ll see which Sophos components are installed. I don’t think that it’s actually an issue of new vs. old versions, but just that one component failed to install on some of our computers for some unknown reason. Re: Sophos reinstallation on official FHC computers

Three of our four Sophos installations showed Intercept X as "Not installed." The FHC support person with whom I emailed about this issue told me that the three computers had an "incorrect" version of Sophos and that my options were either to just leave it alone, which probably w...

Re: Limited FHC Technical Support

There is a procedure for uninstalling Sophos when you don't have the password:

https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/124377

Then reinstall using the Sophos installer from here:

https://familysearch.org/remote/support.html

I'll post full instructions in a separate thread.

Re: Upgrade PC from Win 7 to Win 10

Just talked with someone at FHC support who told me that official FHC Windows 7 Enterprise installations will continue to be supported for another three years, to 2022, via their contract with Microsoft. So, no problem. I am so happy.

Print ward directory without private information

Hello. Anybody know how to print a ward directory, either through the Church website or MLS, that doesn't include the information that members have marked as private? We have some senior couples attached to wards in our stake, and they would like directories, but I can't seem to figure out how to pr...

If anyone finds comes across this thread, go to this thread, instead, for more information: You posted a link for iOS Gospel Library in a Android Member Tools thread. I know. There is a lot of information there that applies to both. I thought that the manufacturer support lifespan for Apple product...
