Recording ordinance for member of another ward

I've been asked to pull the membership record of a young man that is attending a single adult ward so that I can record his ordination to Elder. He is not attending our ward and will not resume attending this ward with his parents but will continue attending the single adult ward. I have been told t...

wiki PDF list

Thanks for this list. It looks to me like some files did not survive the migration so this will be an excellent tool. As I look at this list it seems to me that many will not require any future updates. The issue of updates for items like the Chile Research Outline is a different issue. Maybe we cou...

PDFs

I expect that nearly all PDF files in the wiki were migrated in December from the Plone system to the current system. The files worked just a little differently in Plone. Some documents for Ireland Census Street Indexes for 1901 and 1911 were introduced in an article about the street indexes and the...

I really like the idea of a FamilySearch wiki blog. Is it possible to have one in the wiki? Is there an extension for this? If it is possible to have one with Media wiki then I wonder if we should start a new thread and sort out what needs to be done on this so it can be added to the backlog and pri...

At what point do we set up some user testing. It might be interesting to sit down and observe some people actually using the wiki and get their input on how some of these ideas work for them. There are a lot of missionaries that work in various parts of the Family History Department that might make ...

Scrum

The srumworks option looks good and would probably address the needs that Kip mentioned. Is it something we can implement with our wiki or not? I think the Earl had a good thought on questioning just how much of the current iteration tasks we want to make public. I would like to hear input on this f...

The login fix was pushed through to production yesterday.

The issue of external links opening a new window has not been dealt with. I will check the task list to be sure it is still there and where it is prioritized.

It looks to me like the Newuserlog extension is worth testing. How do we get it added to the an upcoming iteration and insure that this thread is acted on and the extension implemented?

I talked with an engineer this morning about the sign in issue and apparently it had been tested and fixed on the test system but not pushed through to the production system. I just received this note: "I have spoken with Brad and he gave me the go-ahead to move the skin to production. This has been...
