Re: Microsoft Teams set up guidance

What does the church think of using tools such as Teams (or Slack) for church calling work? It could be useful, but I could see it going the wrong way and personal information working its way into non-protected systems. Until I saw your post, I didn't realize that Teams had a free mode and could exi...

Re: Streaming vs Satellite

Alon the line of other comments about the simplicity of the satellite system...it may depend on what they do for internet streaming hardware and how simple it is to use. Another thing to consider is multiple languages in a location. We currently have the capability of 4 languages (we used to have 5)...

Re: Simultaneous translation

We have some older headsets that are switchable to 4 different channels, allowing us to do 4 different languages.

Re: Cannot access notebooks on desktop version.

It's my lucky day...the next post I reviewed had a link to the "classic" study tools:
https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/stu ... s?lang=eng

@ebyers: Try the above link. You should see the unassigned notebooks. See if that helps. See if you see anything else.

Re: Cannot access notebooks on desktop version.

I presume that everyone who has posted here is still just suffering through this? Or did any of yours resolve? Although my current problems have been resolved, I agree there are frequent problems. Mine is still problematic on ALL browsers. You cannot go straight to the tools - it starts to load and...

Re: Help I can't get into Tools/LCR Can't log in, down for maintenance

It seems the church's load balancers default to the maintenance page if they don't get a response from servers within the desired time. Perhaps they could change the message on the "maintenance" page to indicate there are technical difficulties, please try back later. I don't know if that'...

Re: Study Notebooks Suddenly Empty

I am having the same problem. I can see all of my Notes and tags on the app on my iPad but not from my computer. I just checked an my notes are still working. How often do you use the web Gospel Library vs. the iPad Gospel Library? Do you know when it disappeared on the website? A very common suppo...

Re: [SUGGESTION] Print scripture with all the highlights we made on devices

You can send your suggestion through the feedback link. This is just a user-to-user forum. In the online gospel library, use the left navigation bar and scroll all the way down to the bottom. You'll see Feedback. Click on it there and submit your request.

Re: Static/White Noise in Chapel Audio

1990 building - We have a similar problem but it is the satellite feed bleeding into the chapel PA instead of white noise. Our problem just started, If the satellite sound push-button switch is off (NO LED light) with volume set to zero, the satellite audio bleeds through at a low but VERY noticeab...

Re: Music Conductor App and connected digital organs

Several years ago, our stake put on a musical and we licensed the canned orchestra music through a system like this. The system could do a lot of things, including alter the tempo, change the key, etc. I don't know how all of it works. There was a small keyboard that a pianist could use to do certai...
