Re: Tablet Recommendations for Gospel Library Usage.

Update, I decided to go with the Amazon Fire HD8 (16 GB) for $49.99. I was able to download the Gospel Library with no issues. Afterwards, I was reading the scriptures, playing Hymns and watching videos with no issues. You can use google apps on the Amazon Fire, some configuration and file downloadi...

Re: Opening Content of Gospel Library on Kindle and Samsung 7

I went out this afternoon and bought a new Fire HD8 with Alexa. The device was easy to setup(after resetting the amazon account). I was able to download the Gospel Library from the Amazon store and install with no issues. I am currently reading scriptures and watch church videos also with no issues.

Re: Opening Content of Gospel Library on Kindle and Samsung 7

I was planning to buy a Kindle Fire but found out that the Gospel Library does not work on a kindle. Has that changed in the last 6 months? Some people complained about the Kindle fire downloading the Gospel Library but not able to run.

Re: What is the current size of your Gospel Library?

Why is the phrase "you can never have enough scripture material" come to mind. I will have to admit that most of the audio will be hymns on the tablet, but I am trying to stay away from video. I am just trying to gauge what is the minimum space requirement for having all the common everyda...

Re: Tablet Recommendations for Gospel Library Usage.

At the risk of starting a religious war...... ;) I essentially would like a tablet recommendation that you would give to a Bishop or Stake President for the missionaries or Young Mens or Womens to use. I was thinking if it is good enough for the church, it would be good enough to be used in Sunday ...

What is the current size of your Gospel Library?

Please post sizes of your gospel library, so I know what size I need.

This would help me to choose what storage size I need in my tablet.

That makes sence. I thought it would be a type where you send a online request to the ward clerk to transfer your records, the ward clerk reviews it, and then approves it.
