I am also unable to sync the calendar. I have noticed, as others have, that every time I go to the sync page, the id at the end of the subscribe urls changes. It seems that that id should not be changing, so I wonder if that isn't somewhere close to the root of the problem... Does anyone have any i...

I have some new information about the calendar sync. Apparently, the URL is supposed to constantly change each time you refresh the page. When the URL changes, the old URL no longer works. So if you sync'd your calendar using a URL, and then you go back to Options > Sync, the URL will be different, ...

In the last 2 weeks there have been 424 responses submitted about the calendar and directory. I try to skim them to note trends with problems. From that list and from forums posts I've created the Known Limitations page (which unfortunately keeps growing). If you feel that submitting bugs via the fe...

About that message ... I realize it's less than ideal. There's a functionality limitation that prevents people from unsubscribing from system email messages. I'm sure this will be fixed sometime in the future. For the present, I figured it was better to give people a workaround than to simply tell t...

Interesting. So the time zone settings on your computer play a part in the issue? This is something one of the QA people thinks too. I wonder if people who experience issues -- who are in the right time zones -- need to run Windows update to get the latest time zone fixes from Microsoft.

This is a limitation in the new calendar. I tried to address the scenario here: Stake to Ward Event Workflows . As a workaround until the functionality is in place in Q2 2011, I recommend that ward-specific stake events be created as ward calendars. I'm not sure if I'm shortsighted in that recommend...

Another problem is sharing. I've tried to make our stake executive secretary and stake clerk "viewers" of our travel calendar. It never worked for them whether I added them by name or by calling. But when I added our stake clerk as an editor he was then able to view the calendar. My opinion is that...

I'm not sure I understand the question. Why would there be stake events that apply only to a single ward? When you say both ward and stake calendars are in the same format, are you referring to the old or new calendar? If you can give me some more detail, I can provide a better answer. It's just a g...

Access for non-member spouses is a priority and will be implemented in an upcoming release (not sure exactly when). Think of all the non-member parents who want to know the details of their member children and member spouse events -- it's an important piece of functionality, as you point out. The pr...
