One more question. The descriptions mention 8-32 hours per week. What determines how much time you spend? Is it per project or do you ask for a time commitment upfront? I know some people aren't retired but spending 8 hours per week might be doable but more than that might be hard for those with reg...

Is it possible to do it totally remote? It might be better to widen your net. I imagine technical service missionaries aren't too common.

I didn't realize IE8 just did the same thing. I figured the others would get on the separate process bandwagon pretty soon. Thanks for the link, it was very interesting.

The points Google makes for creating a new browser are interesting. The crash control seems to be a great idea where each tab runs in a different thread. The most important principle we've found where I work is to have a point person or group who decides the priority on projects. This group would know all projects currently in the queue and would understand how bumping up the priority on a particular project would affect the other projects at the top...
