LUFAS audit website updated June 10th

Just found out that there was an update to the LUFAS audit website June 10th (2014). The website can still be found at audit.lds.org There is now a dashboard listing the units in your stake and whether the status of the audit (waiting, started, completed) for the most recent audit period. You can al...

Upcoming MLS new features

The release notes for 3.7.1 say it will be released about 13 Jun 2014. It also lists some changes / new features. One of which is the ability to transfer funds between units within your Stake. Just had some questions for the developers, the small number of units in the beta, or anyone else in the kn...

DAP and SIT unavailable- No Comprendo!

I was reviewing a Spanish-speaking unit's computer that recently received a MLS message saying: Estimado Secretario, Un documento importante que requiere su atención habla de no generar gastos DAP y SIT. Se registra en: FINANZAS > INFORME DE FINANZAS > DECLARACIONES FINANCIERAS > MICELANEOS > "...

Re: Wireless Access Points as Sensor Network

I guess to track someone's movement, you would have to limit the range of the WAPs, or use fewer WAPs further apart. I like the thought-challenge about what can be done with the equipment, but the whole "Big Brother" stigma could get in the way of actually using it for productive uses. P.S...

Wireless Access Points as Sensor Network

Do the Wireless Access Points(WAP) in a building have access logs that would enable them to be used as a primitive sensor network ? For example, if I had a list of MAC addresses for the mobile devices used by the youth, could I consult the logs of the WAPs to see that on a specific date and time the...

Running a building-only webserver

Is it possible to run a web server behind the firewall so only people in the building would be able to access it ? The idea would be to have a intranet site that would have digital ward bulletins, handouts for classes being taught, and videos that could be streamed locally. Will it work with the new...

Re: MLS and Unit Financial Statement Other Mismatch

2 possible causes: 1) You need to set the time period in MLS to match the financial statement. MLS shows the most current data unless told otherwise, the Financial Statement shows only data up until the end of the previous month. 2) Transactions were performed on the last day or days of the month in...

Re: MLS 3.7.0 Release

If this is the final build shouldn't the main RKATS site be updated
to say that MLS 3.7.0 is now available? Currently it still says 3.6.2,
although 3.7.0 is available if you open the page.

Budget Allocation disbursement methods

I would be interested in knowing how many of the stakes are disbursing Budget allocations to the wards using the percent transfer method verses issuing checks. In my Stake the Stake President sets the Stake to receive 100% of each ward's allocation, and then gives the ward an specific amount via che...
