Since Java itself needs to patched seperate from the OS,
is this something that needs to be manually patched by
the Stake Technology Specialist, or will this be handled
using the patching mechanism of MLS during a Send / Receive ?
Anyone have the official story ?

I can't give you the official line on this. All I can tell you is that my Stake Technology Specialist has already manually applied the Microsoft Patch to our machines. For those of you in the know, I noticed on the java site recently that there was 2007 DST update listed - Does anyone happen to know...

Is there currently or will there be any meaning to the different member types? I've noticed that there are several member types listed to members: New Member, Junior Member, Member. Tom Welch answered this in the Planning for the ranks thread although he used New Member, Member, and Senior Member. ...

Ward Website Logfiles

When people sign on to the ward website, and view the various pages of the site, I imagine that somewhere there is a logfile produced for this. If so, is there a chance the Ward Website Admins might someday get a chance to view these logs or portions of them ? I know that it would help the admins to...

What I'd suggest is adding a "What's new" to the main admin screen. It can go just below the "You have 5 submissions needing approval". That way it's right there to greet the admin every time they log in. Hopefully it would be in reverse chronological order is new stuff is at the top. Minimal work ...

Opening MLS Forms Data Format ?

Any chance that we can get an official spec on the .xml and .dtd files that are used to create the Forms in MLS available in the "Print Form" command ? While a lot of it can be deduced, and reverse-engineered from the forms we already have to choose from, it would be nice to know that it was somethi...

Open-source Building Scheduler you can use in the meantime

While adding the blueprints/maps to the scheduling software is really nifty; Until all of that is worked out, here's an open source project I discovered the other day that can help you schedule the building right now. MRBS - Meeting Room Booking System http://mrbs.sourceforge.net/ It is a PHP / MySQ...

Roadmap for MLS ? Open Sourcing MLS ?

I've noticed that for a lot of Open-Source Projects, the developers have released a roadmap of the goals of features and fixes that are being worked on, and approximate dates to reach these goals. Any chance that such a roadmap for MLS or other projects will make it onto ldstech.org ? Also, is there...
