Re: Will LCR be available to YM quorum advisors and specialist?

According to the LCR Access Table advisers (but not specialists) should now have access to certain information in LCR (although I haven't seen this in action myself). The access table doesn't say specifically which members a calling has access to but I'm assuming since it says they have access to th...

Re: Payment Timing for ACH Expense Reimbursement

You don't know for certain until it says Cleared. If it says Issued then it's in process. The funds may have been deposited but they may not have been. From what I understand there isn't anything the church can do to change this. They are just reporting the information they receive from the banks. B...

Re: Voiding an approved Expense in Bishop's Review

Have you looked in the Expenses Summary page instead of the Bishop's review page? The bishop's review page should have no effect on whether it's in the expenses summary. If it in the summary list then you can try to void it as I indicated in the previous post. If the void button does not show up the...

Re: Suggestion for LCR/Move Records Out

To me personally this sounds like a good suggestion and it's one I've though of before myself. But it's possible there are privacy issues that prevent it's implementation. I don't know. But the decision makers for LCR do not read the forums in general. The best way to make a suggestion like this is ...

Re: Are Deposit Bags Unit Specific?

I don't know but when we moved to a new bank we received new bags. So they are at least bank specific. You'll probably need to contact the global service center to find out for certain. If they aren't interchangeable then you can order new bags while you're at it.

Re: 1099 Preparation

1) Auto repairs paid with fast offerings are not reportable (fast offering rule) 2) Staples purchases are not reportable (they are legally incorporated and headquarters handles the relationship anyway) If you have an individual provide some service for a youth conference or camp (perhaps for meal pr...

Re: Contribution after Jan 1 in timezones ahead of Utah?

According to the Donations FAQ all donations are recorded using Mountain Daylight Time. Your clerk can call SLC to make sure but I suspect the church has to use a consistent policy especially when that policy has been published and it probably cannot legally make exceptions. Tax law is usually prett...

Re: Voided Check

If I’ve voided a check (check was lost and never cashed) in LCR finance, do I still need to notify church headquarters regarding the voided check or is the voiding process in LCR sufficient? The voiding process is sufficient now-a-days. I had one a few months ago. I voided it and then called GSC an...

Re: Electronic Reimbursement - Approval Process

Does the expense reimbursement form need to be digitized and electronically attached or just the receipts? It probably doesn't have to be attached since the bishops approval is done electronically. However, I'd still recommend including it. If there are any questions about whether the expense (whet...

Re: Voiding an approved Expense in Bishop's Review

If the expense has a status of Issued (rather than Cleared) then you may be able to void it in LCR. Select Finance > Expenses from the LCR menu and then click on the Expenses Summary page. Find the expense and click on the reference number. If the expense has a red Void Expense button then that shou...
