Yes. Handbook 1 is already available online to authorized individuals -- I know my stake presidency can access it on new.lds.org when they are logged in. I'm not sure what the exact list of those with access is; I would hope that it includes the same people who were given hard copies of Handbook 1....

I tried to get to the calendar ( https://new.lds.org/church-calendar/ ) yesterday evening, and again this morning, but the page keeps auto-refreshing every two seconds in Firefox 3.6.11. In Chrome, it doesn't refresh, just doesn't show the calendar. Tried on three different computers. Anyone experi...

Have you clicked on Legend and made sure that Selected Boundary is checked? As long as that is checked I see ward and stake boundaries just fine. If it isn't checked they disappear.

I have been trying to get access to some of the tools in the new.lds.org website. I am on the District Council which I found out does not have access. I am also the District Technology Specialist which is an Assistant District Clerk, so I added myself to that calling in MLS and called again to find...

When the new directory was first introduced, when you logged on, the first screen was your local ward and stake. Now it opens only to the Area and it is necessary to open the pull down menu and then open the stake to get to your ward. Does this bother anyone else? I have sent an inquiry to feedback...

Family History is an organization in MLS, and if you use the standard calling for Stake Family History Director and Stake Record Extraction Director, then these callings will show up on the new.lds.org/directory under the Family History organization. So that's certainly a case where there is a bene...

So, in theory, the ward clerk would be able to grant me permissions by going to Manager Rights? Yes, but if you are correctly listed in MLS as the website administrator you should already have rights and be listed on the Manage Rights page. If the clerk adds you in the calendar application you'll h...
