It's explained on the wiki here: https://tech.lds.org/wiki/index.php/Budget_Allowance#Basis Basically they take the number of primary children ages 8-11 and multiply it by the percentage attendance for primary on the quarterly report. Similarly they take the number of YSAs in the ward and multiply i...

I have forgotten my password for the WIKI. I have looked for information on how to reset it but no luck. Thanks in advance for the help. Chris N. Sieler The wiki uses the LDS Account login credentials. To reset your LDS Account password go to http://ldsaccount.lds.org , click on Can't Sign On and t...

I would tend to disagree. It's not just teachers and leaders who need to know the actual names of people. It's not like the "legal name" is a mere technicality; this is truly the name they go by. It's not an embarrassment, and it's not that they are second-class members of the family. They actually...

I don't think that's the issue here. IE7 Displays the stake just fine. http://tech.lds.org/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=353&d=1236571552 The web site doesn't use the same style for the name when you go to the stake page. When you are on the stake page it shows the stake name using the same sty...

Then why does the sample in post #14 look ok? In that sample. the font looks smaller. Perhaps IE shrunk the font whereas FF only shrunk the space allocation. No, the font size is a separate setting from line-height. Assuming default font settings in both IE 7 and FF 3 the fonts come out pretty much...

Now, take (Student Single) Stake, and slide it up so that the top of the S is even with the middle line of the B in the line above. Then overlay it. That's what I see. It is not a font size problem for me. It is the display location of the second line of the stake name. It is overwritten on the fir...

One idea regarding the extra instance of javaw.exe -- you might want to check a setting in the Java Control Panel: Start > Control Panel > Java > Advanced tab > Miscellaneous . There is an option for 'Java Quick Starter', which I think was added with Java 6. You could try disabling that to see if t...

With RAR, the comments are never stored... they are Emailed straight through to the Presidency as if the person typing the comment had sent an Email. What is the difference between that and a person Emailing a confidential comment using their Email client? I'm also not a lawyer and not privy to any...

I think that would cause problems with some sites like NFS as the site data is linked to your account. If a way could be found to allow the user to flag their other accounts and then merge them into the new LDS Account that would be a better option. Unless I'm mistaken NFS is currently limited to m...

I got a similar error today as well. However, in the same session we received some new records so the send/receive didn't fail entirely. I have no idea what the problem was. I didn't actually see any ill effects on our end.
