To start the discussion on this, here's my two cents worth. I can see already a very simple solution to some of this, would require the following: 1. A map layout of the building in question that the scheduler was over. This would be very basic, just a line map of where the rooms are and each resour...

There is a way to handle that from my experience with some major websites one normally would register to use like some of the services on Yahoo. When you want to change very personal inforamtion, they usually have you login again, even if you are already logged in, so that you and they are sure the ...

Back-referencing articles reprinted from older issues of magazines.
Here's something that some of you may have noticed on your own, especailly if you have used the 'advanced search' features on the lds.org beta site. December's Ensign (2006) First Presidency Message was found to be a reprint of a talk given by President Monson in the 1993 April Conference (May Ensig...

I do see one side issue here as well, and that is the fees that are taken out of the donation by the bank or other issuing institution. For example, a merchant who takes a card at the grocery store is charged a fee, usually a percentage of the transaction. That fee varies based on the volume of sale...

I like the side-by-side languages idea, and not just English/Spanish, but like German/French too. That way, not only could one learn the language, but missionaries that know they are going to learn a language other than their own, and not just from English to whatever, can actually familiarize thems...

Thanks Barkeraj for the update. It makes alot of sense to have that part delayed slightly because of other fish you have to fry. The links in the form described above are also very search-engine friendly. That iwll make them accessible more readily to Google and other search engines and much more li...

A little more detail. Obviously your situation of going from paper to MLS was not quite the same as what I knew about. The second matter was the stake and ward communicating. Yes, much of this happens at stake priesthood meeting or stake conference, but let's say that it happened between times. Like...

Any place here for ideas for lds.org?
Any place here for ideas for features, etc., for the main lds.org site? I see things for country sites, unit websites, etc., but the larger site seems to not have a home here yet.
Is this part of the forum the place? or somewhere else here?

For the smaller, interactive meetings...
Someone mentioned wanting something for rather small, interactive meetings. Here's what the Utah Valley PAF User's Group board did when two of their board members could not attend the meeting earlier this month or late last. It's an odd workaround, but it worked in this case. Thanks to Renee Zamora ...

Melchizedek Priesthood Ordination Certificates
Are you possibly having issues that might have been from porting the member data from MIS to MLS? Possible scenario. A member is recommended, sustained, and ordained to the office of high priest. He is also set apart as an assistant to the group leader. This happens while we are using about the next...
