Re: Submit Suggestions for Newsletter Features and Improvements Here!

I will admit our ward and stake are not greatly using it. But it has great potential.

Our stake is using it so we know what ward the stake presidency and HC is going to be in each week since that badly clutters the calendar and for a place to put suggested 4th Sunday topics.

Re: Future of Classic LDS Maps?

.... What features that we had on classic Maps will we not have on the current "Ward Map"? :?: Boundaries is already mention but there are a bunch of neat features in that too. Another one that is in classic is the ability to underlay other maps. For example if you are dealing with floodi...

Re: SLOW internet access; how to fix?

Go in at some other point and do the work. Only the tithing processing and a few occasional other things are needful during church hours. Most of the stuff make a written list and deal with it some other night. Being ward clerk is one of the highest work load callings in the church and I understand ...

If the child is in your ward your clerk can look up donation activity even if it was done online.

Re: Home Teaching Statistics at the Stake level

You are likely out of luck. Something if you can get the wards using into the future that might help. It keeps the numbers by month and graphs them. If it is used as an intermediary and a new file is started each year you can have that data. I have 5 years of data in it. This form is designed to pri...

Re: Creating MLS Unit-to-Unit Address Book

Try having the ward clerk edit it in the first menu of MLS. If that doesn't work you probably need to go to CDOL to edit it. Likely it will have to be the clerk doing it.(might have to be ward clerk) Enter the unit number into the search to get the ward up. You can probably edit the address there. I...

Can the hearing assist devices from the chapel be modified to work else where(I assume only good in rooms ...

Re: Need audio in largest portion of the cultural hall ONLY.

The optic gate is just a switch. It should be possible to install a manual switch in parallel with it to allow bypassing the gate. Run some wires and install the switch somewhere. The quick dirty answer might require having sound in the overflow though. Otherwise 2 switches might need to be bypassed...
