Having lived in ward that was bigger then the stake I'm in now I would say it's not about geography at all, at least as far as I know. One of the major determining factors is whether of not you have enough active, worthy, tithe paying, priesthood for all the callings that require priesthood (bishopr...

Our "Lost and Found" is in the library, it's actually more secure there. I noticed the other day that our Stake Center's "Lost and Found" is on a shelf above a coat rack. As for a PC, I've been keeping a laptop up in the Clerk's Office for about two months now, ever since we started putting wireless...

But not everything we do should not be covered by a letter from Salt Lake. And not everything one Ward or Stake does, or doesn't do, is applicable to another. We do them monthly, 5 minute setup, 10 minute clean up, everything is brought before church and kept in the kitchen. We focus mostly on snack...

Not all references are for the user. A list of reports could be given to auxiliary leaders who may not have access the system, or the help file, so they could know what is available to request.

Is there a reason you can't use the ship-to address feature of the LDSCatalog site? We had a Bishop change a month ago, and our old Bishop is still listed a...

What kind of "pop" are you expecting to hear? At what point would you consider podcasting a success?

Nice find. We had a blind couple in our Ward a few years back and they used a very expensive package that made the computer accessible to them.

Now I haven't used either program, so I can't compare on features, but I'm saving the link against future need.

Thanks much

Our previous Stake President would always train his Bishop's to answer questions this way. 1) What do your counselors say 2) What does the handbook say 3) What does the Spirit say I'm not a "handbook police" kind of guy, but mostl definitely page 31 and 32 should be reviewed, specific mention of the...

Fun times...

Was it ever confirmed if an address change in MLS propagates to CDOL? Or does out Bishop, who does not have internet access at his new home yet, have to do it?
