In the app, on the bottom panel, 2nd icon from the right, you find the “Screens” icon. With that icon, you can have multiple screens/scriptures/articles open and be able to switch from one to the other. On my IPhone, I have a long list of “screens” that I’m using for school. Does that ( Or can that) list sync from my iPhone to my iPad and/or laptop?

No, screens don't sync currently; however, depending on your use case, you might be able to use bookmarks (bookmarks do sync).
Allowing screens to sync would be a good feature request to send in, under Settings > Send Feedback.
