Mass Text Messaging

Does anyone know how many numbers can be text in a mass text through ward tools (lists) at a time?
Is there a data limit (character) as well?

The limiting factor tends to be one's carrier, not the application. I think some have reported a limit of 10.

We've been sending in batches of 20 (Verizon).
