For anyone interested in a template for Sacrament Meeting Programs, using Google Docs, please follow the links included here.

There are two docs:
1) A word-style template for the actual program. It uses multiple tables for layout, like a web page. Easily modified.
2) A bulletin spreadsheet that records speakers, songs, and musical numbers. It dynamically finds hymn numbers based on an included song database, and pulls all this data into a sheet which can be directly copied and pasted into the program template. There are a lot of formulas to process the data, so some ranges are protected with a warning (you can edit them all)

This has been a fantastic tool to remote coordinate with the music director and bishopric as many of our people travel the world, and can still fulfill their duties. It eliminates a lot of emailing, as the people who need to affect the program information have direct access to it.

Please copy to your local Google account and share as needed.

And at all times, lobby the church website folk to include this kind of functionality locally for everyone without the use of Google ;)

The first links will allow you to see the documents. If you want to make a copy and edit the files for your own use, please log in to your google docs account first, and then click the new links.

This should make a copy to your local Google account, that you can edit at will.
