Incorrectly input tithing amount and donor

Just recently ran into a problem where we inputted the incorrect amount for a check and submitted the batch prior to realizing the error. In addition it was also submitted under the son of the actual donor being that the name was the same but with different suffix. Any suggestions on how to change the donor and correct the check amount?

Didn't the error come to light when the deposit was totaled? I'm not understanding how the batch got submitted unless the check was mis-read twice.

I believe anything that changes the batch total will require a call to support. Changing the name of the donor is a simple as going in and editing the batch.
