Online Donations "no authority loaded"

I'm from New Zealand, and every time I try to make an online donation (I have a bank account and everything else set up) I get an email. It says Donations Reversed, no authority loaded. Does anyone know what that means? I've scoured the forums and internet but come up empty handed.

I did find the phrase, but no explanation of what it meant. My best guess is that you need to inform your bank that the church is allowed to withdraw funds from your account. Otherwise, any one with your account information take money from you.

At least, I'd start a conversation with your bank to see if they can explain it.

I've been experiencing the same thing since 2020 so I've reverted to giving cash in an envelope as our ward clerk was not able to rectify and our bank has not 'blocked' tithing.
