MLS Error 1: Unable to Transmit

#1

Post by rdkent »

I am seeing "Error 1: Unable to Transmit" as the Transmission Status when trying to Send and Receive in MLS.
This is occurring with multiple Church Units on multiple computers in multiple buildings.
The internet is up and accessible in all locations.
Has anyone had success in resolving this error?
At this point, I am assuming this is a Server issue at Church Headquarters since it is occurring with multiple Units on multiple computers and in multiple building.

Shreveport Stake Units are all reporting the same issue right now so I also assume it is on the server end.

Same thing in St. Anthony, Idaho. If the MLS send/receive is hung and not responding, is there any concern with forcing MLS to close and try the send again?

Same. All three units in our building are unable to transmit (Bellevue Stake, WA). Internet works great (obviously).

There is another thread I just saw that popped up that said the following:

"We just had this happen to us today in our stake (Layton South Stake). I contacted the Global Support Center and was told that it is a known issue system wide. I was told today to just have the ward make the deposit and to try to submit the batch at a later date. They should make a back-up like they normally should each week as well."

This error is also happening with the South Jordan 2nd Ward.

As an enhancement request, it would be nice if I could just "plus" or "me too" the problem letting others know that this is affecting our ward/stake without feeling the need to add a comment if that makes sense.

From one of our wards in Dayton Ohio East Stake at 17:50L:

"I happened to still be at church so I tried it again. The church already has sent a patch to update MLS. The retry of our submission was successful. "

Looks like patches are being pushed out to fix the issue.

I downloaded and installed the new MLS release early this morning. It wasn't until after our block several hours later that we noticed a problem with the send/receive process.
