I have been asked as the stake clerk to cancel a stolen recommend. under membership - temple recommends - i have access to 3 options - issue, void and cancel. Cancel will give me a status report of stake members and the status of their recommends. It will allow me to edit some but i cant find how to cancel. In the void section it will allow me to enter a recommend number and then void the recommend.
Do i void a stolen recommend number or is there actually a way to cancel the recommend?
Thanks for any help on this.

Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

This needs to be done by the ward. Go to the member profile. click on the recommend status ("Active"), and then click Edit.
