Mapping software for Ancestors' Land Deed Records

Dear friends,
The Sitch: Via the state archives I've found the Land Deed Records for some of my ancestors - O'bannion, Viriginia, 1706-1760-ish.
The problem: The County my ancestors bought land in has been changed in name and scope (the boundaires have changed, as well as the state since WV was part of VA up to the Civil War/War of Northern Aggression).
The ask: Staff at the state archives told me mapping software exists that will plot the location and dimensions of the property as it is written on the land deed (System Number
000858886 and 000858884 at VA State Archives); can y'all help me find that mapping software? (It woudl need to be able to plot the property based on degrees, N, S,E,W as of the deed's date 1748-ish.
Thanks!
