What do we do about an expiring Microsoft license on our Family History Center computer? How do we get a new license code?

License for what? I've never heard of a OS license expiring.

I think this is for something else, (like Office), or it's some kind of scam.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

It would be best to contact FamilySearch support for help = https://www.familysearch.org/ask/help

Well, we have started to get a message as in the picture..
If this means that more money are to be paid, like once-a-year, I do not know: do we install that new "update" or not? please reply :)

No additional money is required. These updates are needed for Windows 10 to keep up to date with the latest bug fixes and security patches. They are massive and can take hours to install on slower PC's. Be patient and let them fly.
