LCR access for AP Quorums Specialist

#1

Post by jon.hertel »

As a Bishopric we called an Aaronic Priesthood Quorums Specialist to help us with administration side of the Aaronic Priesthood quorums. He was formally the secretary to the young men's presidency. We would like him to be able to work with the quorum secretaries to send messages, print attendance rolls, update ministering assignments, etc. He is currently denied access to LCR, where he used to have access as YM Secretary.

We do have him in the right calling in the system that was released on January 1, and not one that we created in late October. Do we have him in the right calling in the system? Is this something that he will eventually gain access to? The access table still shows YM Presidency, so I assuming it will be updated at some point.

Maybe there is a better way or do we just hang on till things are updated. Open to suggestions.

Thanks

Please read Will LCR be available to YM quorum advisors and specialist?.

You are not alone. While we're waiting for clarification, it seems the most likely outcome will be that the advisers and specialists will have to do "over the shoulder" training of the leaders while they are logged in and not try to do it remotely (or as a de facto second-level administrator).
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.
