Re: Interesting power issue with new audio/video system
The BLU systems are no longer being installed, just a heads up. At least out here. They are still doing some IVIE iflex new installs but they have gone to a new QSC Solution just recently for sound system upgrades. QSC Amps and controllers, and some Crown Amps as well.

Re: Question About Sitting with Family/congregation After Blessing/Passing the Sacrament
I recall when I became a deacon back around.. 1989. We would stay in the front along with those who blessed the Sacrament, staying at the sacrament table for the remainder of Sacrament meeting. It was only like that for a few months, and then it was announced that something had changed policy wise (...

Re: Stake Clerk Xerox B405 wireless printing
Thank you for the feedback, everyone. Apparently the Stake Clerk and Stake Technology Specialist came up with a solution that is working for them and not keeping the printer open for everyone else. (They just wanted it available on the Stake Leadership level)

Stake Clerk Xerox B405 wireless printing
Folks, or those with more church policy knowledge, please check me on this. My brain is a bit scattered. I have a Stake center where a new B405 was installed and they would like to be able to print to it remotely on the building network and be able to access it or print to it from their cell phones ...

Re: Cleaning Supplies checklist
That looks great, just keep in mind that each FM group equips the buildings with different style toilet paper, paper towel, and handsoap dispensers, along with different style of vacuums (Some get the Windsor Versamatic uprights while others may get the Windsor Sensor model, or a combination of both...

Re: Local Area Connection doesn't have a valid IP configuration
Russell- in your opinion, can a switch such as the 24 port unmanaged Linksys in this situation also be the cause of messing around with the IP configuration if no other switches or routers are connected to it?

Re: Removing satellite receivers
I know this is an old post but thought I would throw in a few things. Some buildings will continue to utilize the satellite dishes. I'm working on satellite sound to chapel sound system issues at a stake center that just got a new dish, in fact. And it was approved by the FM and Salt Lake to get the...

Re: Local Area Connection doesn't have a valid IP configuration
Russell, thank you for the info and for teaching me. I honestly was not aware that could cause a problem so I appreciate that and I am going to look into it and report back.
