User account countrol prompt when launching MLS
When launching MLS on our new stake computer we get a user account control prompt when using the regular clerk account. But when I log in with my separate STS account I don't get the UAC prompt. But both accounts are admins and were set up the same. I may have installed it under the STS account thou...

Re: Church provides a new Zoom Account to local units
Any reason why I as an STS have still not received the letter? I got caught off guard by bishops who have already received it.

Disk Drives
We got our first new computer in 4 years this year, and it doesn't seem any faster than the old ones. They are horribly slow, particularly to start up and do updates and virus scans; these computers are sometimes not usable for up to an hour. The biggest factor is the drive -- SSDs are the answer to...

Re: New accounts for clerk computer
Have you tried just hitting enter? I have found that often to be the solution. When I did one recently the admin account didn't have a password and never did. The unit account password was assigned by me during setup. You should have been prompted for that. D&C 89 is the support account, you won...

Re: Office 365 for Nonprofits
I noticed Office 365 was an option in the provisioning tool, and that's what's being installed in the computer setup instructions example. But it doesn't install a licensed copy; are they supporting this in some way or is that just a convenience they provide if you decide to get your own license?

TM enhancements
Any word an whether we will get any more TM enhancements? How can we submit enhancement requests? I don't see a feedback option anywhere. It's nice that we have some usage statistics now, but it's not nearly as useful as it used to be. At any rate, it would be a big help if 30 minute and/or 1 hour o...

Re: Noise gate in chapel sound system sounds terrible over broadcasts
There are a number of different systems and audio contractors out there. We had a similar problem but it was due to built in noise cancelling in the microphone we were using for the webcast; the sound system in that building is an ancient analog system with no processing. We switched to the aux outp...
