Re: More Permanent Setup for Sacrament Meeting Broadcasts

our stake center is relatively new (dedicated Jan 2020). The design for the stake center is much smaller than previous stake centers - it's ~11 feet longer than our other building designs. We cannot fit even half of our stake into the stake center. FM told us that is the direction for buildings in t...

Re: Stake High Councilor LDS Tools Access

Thanks @davesudweeks - The coordinating council feedback is already in progress. This question came up during our High Council Meeting and the Stake Adult Leadership committee meeting this morning. So the feedback in the forum is an afterthought - I posted the feedback after seeing that other stakes...

Re: Stake High Councilor LDS Tools Access

The question about high councilor access has been a recurring question in stake meetings. I noticed in the most recent handbook a change that appears to be reflected in the handbook but has not yet made it to permissions in LCR or Tools apps. HB 29.3.8 bullet #2 (https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/...

Re: simple wifi blocking

Thank you! This is really helpful. Many a time in my class WIFI getting slower down at church, I will definitely look upon this. fingbox isn't going to help with slow wifi at church - it's for home use. from what I've seen slow wifi at church is generally caused by 1) too many people on the wifi us...

Re: Just need to Teleconference

Just adding this for future reference. On April 16 2020 the church sent a notice about google meet being available for some church callings. [quote]Local leaders should also counsel with their priesthood leaders to determine appropriate use of any videoconferencing technology for Church meetings. If...

Payment Request menu in LCR Finance

Anybody have access to this "payment request" menu?
looks like it may be moving online ... there's a help page for it but the menu doesn't show up for me.

Re: Calendar 3.0 released

Should have thought about this sooner: Under the gear icon, click on "Date Options". Also, I'd check what your OS time zone settings are set at. The old calendar system pulled the time zone from the computer. I'm not sure what the current one uses for the default. Already checked Date opt...

Re: Calendar 3.0 released

I’ll let someone confirm but I believe that each building has a time zone attached to it. That is correct. Have your calendar administrator go to “Locations and Resources”, then choose the building and on the next page you will see the time zone for that building. It requires a stake admin. I check...

Re: Calendar 3.0 released

I don't see this reported after several searches so posting it as a bug report: In Arizona (the only true and unwavering time zone): I configure my time zone to "America/Phoenix" under "settings gear | date options" When adding a new event to a shared/public calendar, the event i...

Re: simple wifi blocking

The fingbox finds and inventories every device on your network. It can identify most of them. It rescans your network every few minutes looking for new devices. In the phone app, you add a list of people and then associate a device to a person. So, for example, if your child gets a new phone, the ap...
