Re: Tracking hybrid sacrament mtg attendance

In our 'in person' meetings, we vary from 50 to over 70 from one Sunday to the next. Also, one could ask the missionaries if they have any investigators attending that week. Fortunately we don't have to worry about that. :)

Re: Sending Budgets to Church Headquarters

I just did what I should have done in the first place. I called our Stake Financial Clerk. What he wrote was correct (more or less) except for the word "submit". What he meant was that after we fill in the breakdowns for each of the organizations in the Ward (which really isn't 'mandatory'...

Re: Sending Budgets to Church Headquarters

I have never heard of it at the ward level, but have never served as a stake clerk. From the wording you quoted, it sounds to me like a requirement on the stake clerk to submit the breakdown of the ward budgets within the stake (how much is allocated to each ward), not a breakdown of the organizati...

Sending Budgets to Church Headquarters

I recently received the following email from out Stake Financial Clerk: " Just a friendly reminder that if not already done to submit your 2021 budget report to church headquarters as soon as you have approved the operating budgets for your respective unit organizations. It can be done via LCR ...

End of year member donation reports

Something I just came across. When preparing for Year End reports for members I have found how you can find whether they are Online donors or not. However, is there a way to link that status with whether they have paid any donations for the year. I am planning on only sending year end tax reports to...

Re: Auxiliary Budget Rollover

split the pie equally among the ward organizations that typically spend budget funds. We tried that (using the percentage basis) but that really blew up one year when we had a ration of 3 to 1 ratio YW to YM. The Young Women's presidency very politely (well, sort of) asked why, on a per person basi...

Re: Update Budget allocation

I guess that one could go back and look at the previous reports, take the numbers and multiply by the dollar amounts that are used as the multipliers and come up with something very close. I have to admit that I had never thought of going through that exercise. It might be interesting to see how man...

Re: Auxiliary Budget Rollover

Understood, but I was specifically referring to the thought that the Ward Council " decide[s] how to allocate the budget". Picky, maybe, but when the Bishop makes the final decision, the decision is made, or so I understood. Just as Bishop's Councilors council, and he should take that coun...
