Re: Fast Offering Expense Limit?
Excellent advice - we will document. We also learned there isn't anything stopping a ward clerk from writing a FO check for an amount between $5K and $10K so the documentation is very important in a number of ways.

Re: Fast Offering Expense Limit?
If the Ward limit is $5,000 and the limit is $10,000 with Stake President approval.... If a check for say $7,000 needs to be written and the Stake President knows about it and approves, what is the process of actually making the payment? I assume the ward makes the $7,000 disbursement but how is the...

Stake FSY Representative?
There is a new Organization in LCR called "For the Strength of Youth" including a standard calling of "Stake FSY Representative".
This is not discussed in the Handbook that I could find.
Anyone know of any information describing this Organization/Calling?

Re: Recording Sacrament meeting
I just ran into this problem with our Stake Conference of last weekend. We had a small in-person group and a large remainder that joined virtually. The Stake President is asking me for an estimate of attendance. Our Stake Technology specialist counted 551 connections from members homes. Assuming one...

Re: Sustaining with No Meetings?
Ironically it isn't holding up the sisters going on missions.
We have a couple brothers we need to advance to Elders here pretty soon so they can get endowed.
We actually have the same problem with a few Stake callings - where to sustain them?

Sustaining with No Meetings?
Has the Church given guidance on how we are to have Priests sustained to be ordained to the MP when there are no meetings to sustain them in?
This is holding up the advancement of our prospective male missionaries.

Re: Youth Budget on FSY Years
...which brings me back to my original question. $75 for FSY represents 3/4th of the annual youth budget. Assuming a large percentage of the youth attend FSY (which I believe is intended and which we anticipate in our Stake) this leaves about 1/4th of the annual budget to run the youth program on FS...

Youth Budget on FSY Years
The $75/youth required to be paid for FSY from Budget funds (not the $75 the youth pays) represents a large portion of the yearly budget the Stake gets for a year. Does this mean that on years a Stake has FSY that the youth program operate on a minimal budget (what's left after paying for FSY)? Is i...

Re: Budget Incease for New Youth Program?
The current handbook allows for the collection of funds from participating members for one girls camp, one boys camp and one day-camp per year. (HB#2 13.2.8) It is this policy that the wards in our stake have used in the past to fund camps (collect from members). It might be a rumor but we were led ...

Re: Budget Incease for New Youth Program?
In the wards of our stake the funds to support a girls and boys camp as well as a primary day camp have been paid for by a fee/head by the parents of the youth attending. If I understand correctly, we are not to request funds from members for these activities any longer. So in order to have these ev...
