Re: Assistant Ward Clerk vs Ward History Specialist

If a bishop called an Assistant Ward Clerk to be over historical work what besides the Ward History would he do?

Assistant Ward Clerk vs Ward History Specialist

Handbook 2 (13.4.3) states that an Assistant Ward Clerk can be called to be over "historical records", among other things like finance, membership, etc. I understand that the Ward Clerk is responsible to create the annual ward history which I'm assuming falls under (or is) this reference o...

Viewing Past Ward and Stake Histories

In the pamphlet "Church History Guides" the #1 stated purpose of creating Ward and Stake Histories is to "Bring members closer to Christ by helping them remember what God has done for His children and that He always fulfills His promises." This statement strongly suggests that th...

Ward Name Change - Ramifications

Last Sunday we officially changed the names of 6 wards in our Stake. Can I get a few of you that have been through this recently to talk about the ramifications of this. Topics like: Updating stationary, donation envelopes, checks, bank accounts, signs and plaques, (?), etc. HQ told me that nothing ...

Re: Home Teaching Percentages

Presently there are 71 assigned to the HP, 43 assigned to the Elders and 3 unassigned. But LCR is reporting based on there being 60 assigned to the HP, 13 to the Elders and 41 unassigned. It would appear that LCR took a snapshot at some point and is holding that as the basis for March. We just went ...

Re: Home Teaching Percentages

I'm searching the forum threads for this topic. I see this one is over a year old but I haven't seen a newer one. Is this still an issue? I'm currently having the problem discussed here. Is this still a known problem with LCR?

Re: Automated Home Teaching Assignments?

Thanks for the feedback everyone - very helpful. I believe the sole purpose of the unassigned list feature is to assist in making sure everyone has a home teacher assigned. The way it's working for our ward presently it is actually hindering the process a little, compared to a single unassigned list...
