Re: Change to missionary payment withdrawal date

Re: Budget Incease for New Youth Program?

I should probably note allocations likely vary by region from what I mentioned and the %withheld will be individual to each stake. Consult your MLS finance statements or LCR reports: budget to see your own details

Re: Budget Incease for New Youth Program?

I've had to explain to quite a few leaders and clerks lately just how the allocations are derived from the quarterly reports. Even though they get a report sent through LCR and MLS quarterly for the sole purpose of explaining the allocation, few in our stake have taken the time to understand the det...

Re: Budget Incease for New Youth Program?

Question for you.... are you doing one camp then for all YM quorums together? Our stake hasn't given us any direction for the YM so we're planning the traditional camp per quorum. Our Young Women do have a stake YW camp this year as typical every other year. I don't think we've thought about combin...

Re: Budget Incease for New Youth Program?

As a Stake Finance Clerk, we've been grappling with how to fund the new youth programs. From our perspective the big new element is the FSY funding. We've been relying on the: FSY Planning Guide https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/youth/fsy/bc/PDFS/2017/PD60000952_PlnGd_eng.pdf?lang=eng&download...

Thanks everyone for the replies, which were spot on. I talked to both Deseret Mutual and the Risk Management department. DM emailed a form that verifies they will step in on behalf of church members and help with medical expenses beyond personal insurance coverage. Risk Management emailed a request ...

Certificate of Insurance

Looking for some help, briefly: our youth org need to rent a local school for an activity (stake roadshow) they are practicing for (overbooked church buildings). The school district wants a Certificate of Insurance from any organization booking their facilities. So, how do we go about this? I figure...

I just change the category of the expense. You can reassign to one or more categories so splitting the charge isn't a problem. When it asks for the reason for the change I enter a short description of the actual order. For expenses I've changed recently (in the last month or so) that note shows up ...

One point of clarification, which is causing some concern and apprehension, are we allowed to enter donation batches out of sequence? In other words, can we create a make-up batch for the previous year after we have already entered a donation batch for the current year? It was my understanding that ...

I was a big proponent of using transfers for the DC expenses as well because you could add a purpose, thereby seeing what was actually purchased. I'm assuming this change means the only options are to change the category or not worry about it. I guess the only other option is to cut a check from th...
