Re: Help With mormon.org Account
When you follow the instructions above, where are you getting stuck? One oddity I've noticed is that http works, but https gets you a "can't connect" message. Thanks, for the tip. We were using http to access mormon.org, but the redirect after authentication was changing it to https. We e...

Help With mormon.org Account
My son is unable to create his mormon.org profile and it appears to be caused by a problem with his lds.org account. We have tried on multiple computers and multiple web browsers, even when we have confirmed it works with other lds.org accounts (such as mine or another child's). The steps to recreat...

Re: remote access

I would like to be able to remote into the computers when I get a call. What is the church's policy for remoting into church computers? Also...

Re: 881W/1041N Maintainence Performed
We suffered intermittent Internet access, on Saturday especially during the morning. This improved slowly throughout the day. This was extremely unfortunate as we had a Youth Stake Conference, on that day, heavily orientated towards Family History requiring reliable Internet access! The maintenance...

Re: 881W/1041N Maintainence Performed
I just noticed this was posted last Friday on tm.lds.org: Wireless Maintenance Completed Maintenance on the 881W and 1041N wireless infrastructure was performed Friday, March 15th at 10 AM Mountain Time. Exhaustive measures were taken to minimize impact. Please contact the GSC if you are experienci...

Re: Clearwire, et al
It shouldn't matter how your ISP delivers service to the meetinghouse, as long as they provide a standard IP/ethernet connection to the 881W. The important thing is for you to know exactly what the service is you are receiving in order to set expectations for your local units.
