Problem with the mobipocket palm doc reader.
The problem with the mobipocket reader is that is crashes my Tungsten C just about everytime I call it up. The plucker reader works fine but not mobipocket. I still use my palm at church every week extensively.

Status of palm handheld documents
Just wondering about the status of handheld documents for the palm. Have been using a Tungsten C for a number of years and find it so helpful in gospel study. Over the past year it seems that there is less activity with new documents added for this device, especially in the Plucker, E-reader or i-si...

Our Setup
Can you explain? I'm not sure what you are describing, but it doesn't sound like how CHQ has instructed us to be set up. The Desktop 5.5 instructions makes it clear that all MLS users are to use just one Windows login and it's to have Administrator rights in Windows. That's not the way we'd like it...

MLS 2.9 Installation Problems
We had quite a scare last Sunday, our Stake Technology specialist came by and told us not to transmit, the 2.9 download had caused every MLS in the stake to crash. Fortunately we did not have our computer setup so that the downloads can be updated by windows, we have to have admin login to update so...

Edit Primary Class Rules
Wondering how to edit primary class rules. We got a primary class that does not have a Maximum age so everyone that moves into the ward gets assigned to it. Tried to delete the class but have to reassign all the adults in it to another primary class which is not something that we want to do. Not sur...

ERC Nets
WE have been supporting emergency communications for the church locally for over 40 years. Our stake has over 80 licensed operators. We have a weekly 'net" on 2M and have our own repeater. We have ERC training at stake leadership meeting for the unit ERC (Emergency Response Communicators). Anyo...

Ward Conference Sustaining of Officers
We have ward conference coming up next weekend and the sustaining of officers form in the MLS still has the old first presidency.

Another example of duplicate records
We have the problem of a teen ager who is from a broken family that attends church every week but has promised the father who is out of the household that he will not be baptized until he is over 18, then when the baptism is completed the mission creates a new record so you end up with two records f...

Member Validation Report Comment
The previous entry makes a good comment. The only problem we have ever seen come up in the member validation report was when a member does not have both parents on their records. We have had members come and ask to have their parents removed from their IOS. Sometimes there is a good reason but stati...
