That would be up to the stake presidency.

Cela reviendrait à la présidence de pieu.

Re: Tithing Directly to Church HQ

I have a problem which is very concerning. Someone has set up an account in the same bank as me, who is taking money out regularly from my account using The name “Church of Jesus”. I have been to the bank and they say that is the Church that is deducting the funds because the Church has set it up t...

Re: Not graduated 18 year old moving on to YSA

Times like this, I look in the General Handbook. I'd start with 11.4. Given that she should be in RS by the time she turns 19, that's probably going to limit holding her back. That section also describes how the decision is made. This doesn't look great either way. If she stays back, she'll be with ...

Re: Non members

I don't know as there's any tracking. Unless it has changed since I was a clerk, the clerk can run a report that shows the status of the training by organization. It doesn't show for everyone - it shows which leaders and teachers in the callings have had the training and which are overdue. I used t...

Re: Non members

Just curious. Is this even possible if they don't have a membership record? I wonder how the system would track completion? It seems to require a church login, but I'm not sure as it has to be associated with a MRN. I don't know as there's any tracking. It may have to be done by screen shot and fil...

Re: YSA Ward Relief Society President and required Protecting Children and Youth Training

I don't know what the trigger is, but you might want to check your membership roster. It's not unusual for a 17-yo who has graduated high school to show up in a YSA Student ward. Either way, there's nothing magical about turning 18 that makes someone immune from abuse. It's probably not a bad idea f...

Re: Non members

Surprisingly, there's no membership or priesthood requirement for Advisers (General Handbook 10.5), but they must complete the training on preventing abuse.

Re: Zoom pictures

The bottom line is that if you have the option of adding a photo, it's going to be helpful to someone if you did. Agreed Im not sure a person can join a meeting without at least entering their name. I wonder what Zoom's "minimum" requirement is. Most of the time, I see names. Although it ...

Re: Zoom pictures

I don't think the profile picture will appear unless the participant is already logged into their zoom account (if they have a zoom account) when they join the meeting. At least, that's what I've seen during my own participation. Sometimes I have a photo, and sometimes I don't. I have to log in prio...

Re: Hybrid in person & virtual meetings

It's a big investment though relatively speaking. The question that has to be asked is how permanent are hybrid meetings going to be? It doesn't seem wise to spend a lot of money if the equipment is just going to sit on the shelf within 6 months. That answer is going to be different for different w...
