Updates?

Do we have any updates on this Channel? I'd like to give it a review on my blog but I am holding off till it's in better shape. Is there a Timeline and will we have access to streaming conference through it?

Well I had a Video podcast on iTunes called MormonCast, it's still up there but it's been a couple years since I've done a show. Thinking about starting it up again. I did LDS movie reviews, commentary on church culture, did a show or two on being self reliant. It was all done in the spirit of fun. ...

Sweeet! Can't wait for this to all work out, If you guys need a beta tester I'm in! I'd love to get to the point where we can put a Roku with a TV from the church library so the seminary kids can stream a video for class. No more need to check out discs or dare I say, VHS tapes.

Would be nice to even have a budget... But I gotta say, the Tri-caster is pretty solid.

It would be great if every building that handled multi-camera webcasts just had a Tri-Caster. I use one at work and it's brilliant!
It does much of the stuff that is being asked for.

Tonight I set up an Access Point in our chapel. The FM group ran an Ethernet cable from the clerks office to the space in the back of the chapel, I picked up a refurbished WAP54G from Linksys for $16.99, works like a charm. The plan now is to run 2 more cables to different parts of the building and ...

My biggest problem with these DVDs is the gross over pricing. DVDs cost only pennies to produce and since the original material is produced by the Church, there should be no royalties to be paid, so there is no excuse for it having a $10 price tag. I work in the production industry, Yes a DVD may c...

A couple years ago I ran a little video podcast called MormonCast, I created 50+ episodes on various topics. The most I have was a few hundred views, I build it and they did not come. The problem is advertising, getting the word out about the show, I tried to network with other LDS producers with no...

At my Stake center, there is an old drop down from the roof which held a 50 pound beast of a projector, we replaced it with a small sony provided by the church, the throw was too close so the image was small and everyone complained to me about it. I asked the stake for a better projector, I even spe...
