Re: Webcast end of life question.

I only have one Taradek in my system of buildings and I have been told the current Taradek systems are out of production. My Mevo camera systems seem to have issues with Zoom. If I am forced to Zoom we will work out the noise cancellation issues among others issues as well or simply buy new systems....

Re: Webcast end of life question.

We had invested in equipment such that the Webcast team told us we could stay on their system. We do use our unit Zoom accounts for other meetings which was also the reason for Zoom account assignments. If the Webcast direction is changing I simply want enough notice to react and train appropriately...

Webcast end of life question.

I have been told by some 'sources' that the Webcast system is going away. We may be relegated with the likes of Zoom. Our current camera equipment and setups are not very workable with Zoom. Is the Webcast tool going away (April 2022 is what I have heard)? If so I would like to know now so I as the ...

Re: Webcast Encoder URL update - Release Notes

Would have been nice to know that the changes would retroactively change the URLs on previously scheduled meetings. Perhaps buried in the announcement this was said or implied. Unfortunately too late for some of our 9:00 AM meetings in the Lehi East Stake. Just a warning to others if you have a ward...

Re: Can't Transfer Zoom License to Church Account

We have multiple accounts within our Stake and Wards that are Pro accounts. All subscribed for a year. Zoom support is of no help as I do not have enough information about the Church Zoom contract and such to help. We will simply move forward with setting up all new email addresses and such for the ...

Re: Can't Transfer Zoom License to Church Account

Has any progress been made on this issue of transferring a pre-existing Pro account to a Church account? Yes, I waited until the first of the year to create these accounts and now I see these issues. Half my wards did not have Pro accounts so I was easily able to create the new church accounts for t...

Re: Simple Fully Automated worship webcast with Meetinghouse Webcast

I noticed you're here in Lehi, you can swing by one of my chapels to check out the J-Tech. We haven't had any issues with the volume. I tested with the J-Tech today and it worked like a charm. I will most likely try the new firmware once I get a few Sacrament meeting broadcast under my belt. I have...

Re: Simple Fully Automated worship webcast with Meetinghouse Webcast

My Teradek died so I am looking into an alternative as I cannot find the Pro version (which has also been discontinued). The J-Tech does not appear to have an audio input which was very helpful when using the Teradek as I could control the level in easily. Probably could use a RCA to HDMI converter ...

Re: VidiU webcasting, but no QOS? Am I reading this right?

So, I am a STS and have implemented my own version of QOS. During Stake Conference broadcasts to our three other buildings and shut-ins I go through several steps to create an equivalent of QOS for our broadcast. I remotely shutdown the wireless from my broadcast sites and receiving sites. I really ...
