Re: Connecting Wireless Brother

If the wireless printer is only used by one or two computers, some wireless printers are able to create their own Wi-Fi hotspot, with limited range. If you connect a private printer to the meetinghouse network, it becomes visible to all devices on the network. I connected the Xerox B405 printer in t...

Re: deposit excess cash. Philippines

This sounds like a typical return of excess funds from an advance payment. The procedure should be documented in the Help Center.

Re: Tv in bishops office

Personal electronic devices should not remain in the meetinghouse overnight. Facilities should not be modified without approval by the FM group.

Re: Tv in bishops office

If I were a Facility Manager, responsible for wisely managing limited resources, I would ask why these monitors could not be mounted to a mobile A/V cart and stored in the library, so they could be shared with other leaders and members. Mounting them to an office wall prevents anyone else from using...

Re: TV monitors on rostrum

My stake bought ChromeCast devices for each meetinghouse five years ago. However, since we had a DSL modem back then, the ChromeCast was useless. When we replaced the DSL modem with a cable modem, the new Liahona wireless blocked the ChromeCast until I got the STS to add it to the No Splash policy i...

Re: TV monitors on rostrum

I cast my desktop image to a ChromeCast device using Chrome. However, I can only cast to one device, and I must register the ChromeCast in TM as a No Splash device. And this all relies upon Wi-Fi, of course. So my solution is not appropriate for your use case.

From FamilySearch online help: Family Tree protects the privacy of living people by restricting who can see their records. You can see the record of a living person only if you created the record. The system hides records you create of living people from everyone else, including the people themselve...

Re: I Can't see new "Submit Payment Requests" feature in "Member Tools v4.4" Mobile Android app

I can't say for sure, but that seems to be consistent with LCR. You can't (or shouldn't) submit your own reimbursement requests, since you should not be the requestor and the reviewer. I ran into that several times in 2020 when I purchased a lot of supplies and equipment, and had to email my receipt...
