Re: LCR add custom fields?

I know that MLS had the ability to add custom fields, and it may still have that. However, I doubt that LCR has that ability. But I do not have access to LCR.

Re: Is a receipt submitted for reimbursement required to have the date?

Some members have submitted a credit card receipt for reimbursement. When they do so, I ask them for an itemized receipt that shows the items purchased. Failing that, a memo is necessary. And in all cases, the date of purchase is essential.

Re: Connecting Laptop to Direct Audio Feed from Pulpit

Green is a standard color for speaker output, so the purple is for mic input. One of the photos for the Sabrent audio adapter on Amazon specifically shows that.

Re: Connecting Laptop to Direct Audio Feed from Pulpit

That is exactly what I use to connect our Lenovo ThinkPad P50 laptop to the audio output from under the Sacrament table. My TRS cable is about 25 feet long, and I set up the laptop in the pew behind "Deacon Row". Since the cable runs across a doorway, I had to cover the cable with a rubber...

Re: Zoom 2FA

Our Zoom account profile says: "Two-factor Authentication Turned off" I added my personal mobile phone number to the profile, hoping Zoom will send future passcodes to my phone, rather than to the Gmail account that I cannot access. Under Settings --> Security, I see that the following opt...

Zoom 2FA

Our stake issued two laptops to our ward for Zoom meetings, and we switch back and forth between them. The STS created our child Gmail account as the owner of our ward Zoom account. Recently, Zoom has been asking for two-factor authentication by sending a passcode to the child Gmail account, to whic...

Re: Feeding Pulpit Microphone Audio into Zoom with no "Audio Out" hookup from Pulpit

My original solution was to place the webcam close to the podium, and use the mic on the webcam. Then I bought a wired Lavalier mic that had a 15-foot cord, and attached that mic to the mic boom on the pulpit. Finally, I decided to purchase a 50-foot stereo cable, which I use to connect the laptop t...

Re: Report Showing Temple Workers in Stake

When I was a stake clerk, I discovered that there are web sites that only the stake president could access, such as the site where he recommends members to become temple workers. I was not able to access that site as stake clerk, but the stake president could access it and see every temple worker an...

Re: Authorized Member-Financed Activities Subcategory naming and Deleting old subcategories

Well, I do remember the printed membership records with all the holes on the edge. Back in the 1980s, when I was ward clerk, my assistant for finance wouldn't allow me to see or touch the financial records, so I don't know what they looked like back then.

Re: Authorized Member-Financed Activities Subcategory naming and Deleting old subcategories

IIRC, you can't delete inactive AMFA subcategories until they have been inactive for the financial retention period (three years plus the current year). However, I have lost track of those rules.
