Re: Is Recording Blocked in New Church Zoom Accounts?

I no long see the "record" button beside the other meeting controls. Recording is available. We used it Sunday to record a Zoom youth fireside. You need to enable it in the settings on the Zoom website and look in the "Recording" group for all the options. When you hit the Recor...

Re: How We Do Zoom Sacrament Meetings

Things worked "OK" but the music (capturing from the mic) will cut in and out (Zoom is using AEC which is causing this) What would be a good work around? I have some ideas but I thought I would post this to get feedback 1st. The Zoom phone app has limited configuration options. In the Mee...

Re: Recording Zoom Sacrament/Stake Conference Attendance

Correct me if I’m not understanding this, but I’m guessing that the attendees report is only obtained from the webinar option in Zoom, mentioned in the above post. At the moment we’re not using the webinar option. If it’s available in the other option where do we go to get the report? I was able to...

Re: Recording Zoom Sacrament/Stake Conference Attendance

Once a month I send out an email a survey to all the adult members, in the ward, requesting their attendance numbers per household. I’ve found that at least a third, who participated in the Zoom meeting, don’t respond. I have now resorted to taking screenshots during the meeting, so I can then do a...

I believe that's the case. I don't think polls work in the browser. We get about 90% response rate to our attendance polls, and we've encouraged members to use the app for a better experience.

Re: Recording Zoom Sacrament/Stake Conference Attendance

Only half of the people connecting to the meeting responded to the poll, despite my multiple promptings. Some reported in the chat window, while others said they couldn't figure out how to use the poll. One brother sent me a text message. One sister responded after I closed the poll and showed the ...

Re: Recording Zoom Sacrament/Stake Conference Attendance

How do you enable Polling? I looked at the Zoom help center and thought I had enabled polling, within Settings, but I don't see the poll option in my Zoom toolbar when I launch a meeting. Here's how to create a poll: ⋅ Enable Webinar polls in the settings (on the Zoom website) ⋅ ...

Recording Zoom Sacrament/Stake Conference Attendance

A Church letter issued today provides instructions for determining meeting attendance. They recommend either estimating based on the number of connections or using chat or text to send a message. If using Zoom, a much easier way is to create a Poll. When we start our sacrament broadcast prelude, we ...

Re: Zoom via Phone

... if someone doesn't have access to internet, laptop, etc (aka widows, older members) can they just call in and listen to a meeting? We've been using Zoom Webinar for several months and have several members call in to sacrament meetings via telephone. They have even participated in testimony meet...

Re: Should the unit's Zoom account only be used for Sacrament Meetings and 2nd-hour meetings?

Is a unit's Zoom account able to be used for interviews and presidency meetings? Or should it just be used for Sacrament Meetings and 2nd-hour meetings? For example, if all three members of the bishopric wanted to hold temple recommend interviews at the same time, could they use the ward's Zoom acc...
