Signin on Sunday to LDS.ORG

Today is the second time in 2 months where the sign in is marginal. When I signed in today the screen remained white. When I opened a new tab it actually did allow me to get to things. However that initial screen never recovered and I ended up closing that tab. Hope you can find the bug or a method ...

Re: FHC wireless policy

Proxy apps for android and idevices bypass everything, so if people "need" to work, they can. The firewall is really there to protect us from bad stuff. But, any "bad" user can bypass the security.

Re: Ipad Mini's for Missionaries

It takes up to 14 days after you return from your mission for the command to comedown to your device. Make sure your data is off the device.

Custom Member Field seems to have broken in 3.8.4

We just got 3.8.4 tonight. We are no longer able to add a "Custom Member Field". Is anyone else getting this? Where I go: Membership | View and Update | Custom Member Fields | Select a member | Custom Fields I click Add, but don't see a way to "Add" a net New entry. Thanks, Chris

Adding Home / Visiting Teaching on Lds.org

My Stake President was wondering if this coming? He would like me to train the Presidents once this ready, if it's going to happen.

Leader and Clerk Training - Tracking website

I would love to see the church create a Tracking Website for the training of Leaders and Clerks. Then I as the Stake Clerk could manage that and gently remind the leaders and clerks of all units (Including the Stake) that training is due. Can someone advise if this can be done fairly easily? Also, w...

Site too busy on Sundays

Can the church spread the load of the Calendar program across more servers dynamically on Sundays? This is a trend I've seen year after year and would have expected it would have been resolved by now. Perhaps more virtual servers would help spread the memory requirements on the back end so we can do...

I do see the issue, but I don't think removing that from MLS has the desired effect... I see more paper copies with the MRN floating around the church now... IMHO. Technically it sounds like more data should be requested that isn't tied to the record for authentication. But, I'm sure those driving t...

What about access to the username, password, and email address? Are you saying knowing the MRN also provides access to these three items as well?

I'm really not understanding

And I seem to remember some hints that there might be some financial tie-in in the future. If that's on the drawing board, it would explain what's happening the MRNs now. Foolproof? I don't think it exists. But I would suggest that a list tucked into the recommend book is likely more secure then ha...
