Calendar Sync to Personal Calendar Error: Won't Sync
My Sync URL works fine in Google. However, for our family calendar, we're using an online app called Teamup. When it attempts to sync to the URL, I receive this error: Failed importing the data. [Import Manager] strtoupper(): Argument #1 ($string) must be of type string, array given. I tried another...

Organ Audio Out
I noticed that our organ has a host of audio out jacks. We've been broadcasting Sacrament Meeting via Zoom and just using the podium microphone. I'd like to plug the Organ into one of our audio inputs on our Laptop for better sound quality. Can anyone point me in the right direction for instructions...

Re: Audio System Line out has distortion/clipping
We tried something a bit different with the sound this past Sunday. As mentioned earlier in this thread, we purchased the following item to attempt to solve our "how do we broadcast audio" problem: Sescom LN2MIC-ZOOMH4N 3.5mm Line to Microphone Attenuation Cable for HDSLR Cameras Here's th...

Re: Building a cable from sound system to "mic in"
Since the REC OUT jack is mono, would a mono to stereo adapter be needed for either of the above solutions?

Re: Audio System Line out has distortion/clipping
From the perspective of... "How do I get audio from the Chapel audio system (the REC OUT jack underneath the Sacrament table) into my computer?" I had another thought. I was wondering if line in to USB devices existed. And I found several. This one on Amazon for example: DIGITNOW USB Audio...

Re: Audio System Line out has distortion/clipping
The reason I used a cable is early testing showed the sound using just the built-in mic was very poor. Since then, I've determined it was caused by the voice of the person at the podium mixing with the sound from the sound system. Direct and amplified. The human ear can filter it out. A microphone ...

Re: Audio System Line out has distortion/clipping
I'm missing something. The webcast from the cell phone does both. The problem I experienced is that I parked my tripod in a bad spot for sound and ended up using a custom cable to connect my cell phone to the sound system. The only reason I figured it out is during the meeting I caught my brain swi...

Re: Audio System Line out has distortion/clipping
Today we had a broadcast and we used the Takstar shotgun microphone. For the most part, the feedback I received was that the sound was fine on the receiving end. We taped the microphone to the microphone on the pulpit. We're using Zoom Webinar to broadcast the service. One thing that I think is goin...

Re: Audio System Line out has distortion/clipping
This is what my Bishop's friend is doing in their Ward.drepouille wrote:I think my next test will be to tape the Lavalier Lapel Microphone to the microphone arm on the pulpit. Then I just need to connect the output from the base station to the mic input of my laptop. Is that possible?
I'm sure it would work fine.
