Re: Church Webcasts using YouTube Live Streams
YT will not finish creating the event until it sees my streaming software. How do I get YT to see my VidiU? I have followed the other steps for the manual setup. This is how I do it for youtube from a Mevo camera (essentially the same as a vidiU but with a built-in camera). I distribute our ward's ...

Re: Youtube Live--Ready in 24 hours??
The Larix Broadcast app will allow you to stream to youtube live from your phone, that is once your 24 hours has past and you are allowed to "Go Live".

Re: Building a cable from sound system to "mic in"
Would this work to send audio wirelessly from the 3.5mm record-out jack under the sacrament table to your cell phone via bluetooth? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EHSX28M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Yes, it will probably work as long as you stay within the distance l...

Re: Simple Fully Automated worship webcast with Meetinghouse Webcast
That is all you need to do and you can begin scheduling your meetings using http://webcast.churchofjesuschrist.org/ . I assume that the STS has to schedule a link for you each week in the stake portal with this option? And each stake member would see each wards scheduled broadcasts as well when the...

Re: Larix Broadcaster (Webcast from a cell phone)
Has anyone tried or figured out the best method using Larix for the following: This is what I would like to be able to do, I don't have the parts yet, and don't know if it would even work, but looking to try and willing to purchase a few items if it will work: 1. I would like to add audio from the t...

Re: Church Webcasts using YouTube Live Streams
There has been a lot of confusion on this topic, at least in our area. I've been asked to help our ward out. The week before our first Sunday's broadcast, I had setup a youtube channel to take care of the broadcast and all was working well in my tests. We were then told NOT to use a live streaming s...

Re: A plea for a dedicated streaming receiver
Since this thread started, the church has started a beta program for a receiver. At least a couple of us are in the program. We're waiting for for them to arrive and put them though their paces. Just got mine. It's a commercial AndroidTV device. I haven't seen instruction or fired it up to see how ...

Re: A plea for a dedicated streaming receiver
I do agree with the OP about how nice it would be to have a standard 'supported' streaming box to greatly simplify the receiving sites reliability and experience. Church HQ already puts out a standard encoder for the broadcast site (which has been a VAST improvement), so why not complete the loop an...
