Re: Getting Audio right with Virtual Sacrament Meeetings

Nice ASCII art. I'm stealing that to illustrate my DIY cable That's plagiarism ! The iPhone/iPad devices have a maximum microphone level of about 30mv so a 20db pad (divide by 10) correctly reduces the 300mv signal from the record out jack. Nit-pick, 0VU for consumer line-out is −10 dBV, or 0.316Vr...

Re: Sacrament Broadcast with iPad Pro

............. I want to hook up to the chapels audio and get the broadcast sounding better. Has anyone successfully done a broadcast with the iPad Pro? If so what equipment did you end up using? From what I’ve read so far it sounds like I just need to get a 3.5mm cable and some kind of splitter or ...

Re: Building a cable from sound system to "mic in"

Would this work to send audio wirelessly from the 3.5mm record-out jack under the sacrament table to your cell phone via bluetooth? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EHSX28M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Yes, it will probably work as long as you stay within the distance l...

Re: Audio troubleshooting - webcast

We had this same problem in our satellite rack. We could not isolate or remove it............. We ended up moving the Teradek to the Chapel.......................... The next problem we had was the the audio output jack was a Mic level, not line level.......................We put a mixer in between...

Re: Getting Audio right with Virtual Sacrament Meeetings

When building your own attentuator that connects the chapel "Record Out" jack to the iPhone, IPad, or most laptops using a TRRS connector, the following info should prove helpful. It should be noted that you can buy a similar attentuator, https://www.amazon.com/Headset-Buddy-Line-Level-Sma...

Re: Audio troubleshooting - webcast

...we've never had a successful broadcast out of our building using the church system, so getting as far as I did was apparently a win. Based on your comment above and that you have a Teradek Vidiu, I assume you are in a stake center with a rack of audio/video equipment located somewhere in the bld...

RecordOut Jack to MEVO Camera is EASY

The MEVO camera can be connected directly to the chapel's RecordOut jack with just an $2 adapter and $10 cable. Audio will be the best possible.

The attached PDF shows the hookup and includes a partslist.

Re: Getting Audio right with Virtual Sacrament Meeetings

I am not sure where you are referring to. I read the PDF a couple times and see lots of information about the plug type cables with links, but I don't see anything about an RCA to TRRS. I also did a search while on the post itself and don't find anything when searching for RCA. Sorry to be a pain, ...
