Re: More Permanent Setup for Sacrament Meeting Broadcasts

Our long-term approach for broadcasting Sacrament Meetings is to implement a system that is fully automatic – well almost! By using a $15 digital AC Timer the wall-mounted camera’s (PTZOptics20X) AC or POE power will be turned on and the camera will start broadcasting immediately (rtmp stream to you...

Re: Webcast Audio Feed | 60 Hz Hum | Passive DI Box?

DI boxes are really handy to have in your audio "toolbox" to troubleshoot "hum" problems - and you don't need to spend very much. This $10 DI box works as good as the $50-$150 DI boxes https://www.amazon.com/Premium-Direct-Injection-Audio-Box/dp/B0027V760M/

Re: Webcast Audio Feed | 60 Hz Hum | Passive DI Box?

You also probably have "hum" in the audio going to the TVs - either all the time or just when you connect your Mackie Mixer. Either way, the proper place to put an isolating transformer is in front of BOTH the AV equipment and the Mackie mixer. Since the AV equipment expects a line level s...

Re: PTZ camera control using IP

Can someone direct me to where or how I can get the IP address for my PTZ Camera? I do not have access to the box the device came in, or any instructions that came in the box. Thank you! If you know the manufacturer's name and model number of the camera then you can probably find your answer by sea...

Re: Static RTMP Url and Keys?

There may be a setting but my understanding is that without the app it sticks to full frame. After so many months, we know the exact marks to use as reference for the camera alignment. After reading and watching some tutorials I found you CAN configure the MEVO camera to retain the ptz/fov from the...

Re: Static RTMP Url and Keys?

......Since entering the static RTMP details into our mevo we don't even need to fire up the app or anything. Just turn the camera on and one press on the button and it begins streaming. Could not be any simpler. Anyone can set it up now and it seems extremely reliable as long as the bandwidth is p...

Re: Stake Conference Streaming

I think YouTube has a sharper picture and better deals with slow connections, however, once you start the stream, you can't resume it. If it dies, you have to start a new session and then send that link out to everyone ..... When you schedule the event in youtube studio, you can turn OFF the "...

Re: Audio troubleshooting - webcast

I finally figured out a workaround yesterday though! I pulled out one of the hearing assist devices and used the the audio off that to plug straight into the Vidiu unit and the sound is 10,000% better with no hum. Sure sounds like a ground loop. An isolation transformer should have solved it (as lo...
