Re: Church Webcast options for Apple TV or Roku?
As others have stated - you can use the Meetinghouse Webcast app on Android TV devices. You just need to make sure to register the app/device to work with your stake first. Once the device is registered to your stake, then you will be able to see any non-private events listed in the Meetinghouse Web...

Re: Pulpit Connections
This picture is just showing an example, and usually are found in newer Stake Centers. Our ward buildings in my stake only have a network port at the pulpit, but our newer Stake Center has connections like shown in the picture.

Re: How many receiving sites can we have?
The current webcast solution will handle up to 200 connections if you choose "Large Event" when you schedule it. We are working as a priority towards increasing this to a lot more, but until then it is 200 connections per event stream. Also, remember this number is per connection, not per ...

Re: Webcast 3.0 is out
Wasn't this available on a per-location basis in the previous version? This setting does that for the entire broadcast, right? So even if we have sites that can take a full HD stream, if we set this it will stream at the lower bandwidth option, right? I see what you mean. It used to be per-location...

Re: Teradek video does not always start
I tried out the new, improved automated system today and it is really nice, almost. Sometimes the Teradek starts up all the way and begins streaming. Other times it stops at not ready with a no video message. So far when the box does not pick up the video, it never happens twice in a row. So the fi...

Re: Is there an Access Table for the Webcast Portal?
Yes, other's responses are correct, you do not need to be a called an Assistant STS or STS to use the "Congregational" link. The Event Manager -STS will send the link to anyone that needs it to setup the receive site, they just need to login to their LDS account when they click on it. Also...

Re: Webcast 3.0 is out
The Teradek will auto configure anytime it is turned on and boots up. That's a very nice feature! I have a few questions... 1. Does the Teradek need to be in the Facility Zone to be found, or can it remain in the Meetinghouse Zone? 2. Using this feature, can the church roll out acceptable firmware ...

Re: Webcast 3.0 is out
One of the cool new features of Webcast 3.0 is the ability to configure the Teradek VidiU once and then it will configure automatically for all your events going forward. I really like this, but have a small concern. As I understand it, the Teradek will self-configure only if you turn it on during ...
