Re: Number of Ward Tithing Status

At the end of tithing settlement every year each unit is supposed to be sending the stake a copy of the Tithing Settlement Declaration Report. If the units in your stake have been doing this, and the stake has been making sure they were submitted, you should already have this information on file.

Re: Jan to June financial audit

Re: Jan to June financial audit

After cutting the check, an expense report prints that the bishop has to sign. It specifically asks for the bishop's signature, so nobody else should be signing it. That is how the bishop approves each expense. I usually cut the check, print the expense report and staple it all together with the re...

That is what we do. We don't allocate any of our budget to distribution charges, so the expenses get re-categorized to a different budget.

It seems they are out of print and no longer available, unless of course, you find them used somewhere as the previous poster suggested.

Re: Missionary Donations from Others

I can think of 3 options:. 1) If they specify their donation is for your daughter's missionary fund, go ahead and apply it to her fund. Subtract the amount they paid from what you would normally pay that month. For example, if you pay $400 a month, and one month somebody else donated $200, then you ...

Re: Recording releases and new callings...

Something like a binder is a good idea. What we do is use a spreadsheet in Google Docs, which has an app members of the bishopric can download to their mobile devices. Everybody can update it and I use that to then update MLS. Using Google Docs (Google Drive) would certainly be efficient. But I fea...
