Deactivating (Not deleting) E-mail Address
On occasion our stake presidency will send an email to stake members via "Send a Message" on LCR. These emails contain important information about upcoming events in the stake (i.e. stake conference, etc). Out of the many email addresses that receive these messages, we'll usually get a few...

Re: Beta Directory: Export Households Missing
As a stake and ward clerk, I have found the "Export Household" tool very useful as well, but now it's gone. I hope we both get an answer.

New Ward
I am the stake clerk. Our stake just created a new ward. We are trying to help them get up and running really fast, so I have been asked to get some things done, one of which is the clerk computer. We have an extra clerks office for them to use. It has a computer in it, however, I don't know where t...

Active vs. Less Active
Is there an official Church policy that tells us what makes a member "active"? I know there are different views on what policy is (i.e. attending sacrament meeting at least one Sunday a month, or attending mid-week activities 3 times a month, etc.), but I don't know that I've ever see an o...

Calendar: Public vs. Private
We accidentally switched a calendar from public to private, but the system does not have the option to change it back. I have full editor access to the calendar, so this is confusing. Please help!

Living Ordinance Recommends vs. Renewal Recommends
It has come to our attention that a couple who was supposed to get married just recently called off their wedding. They both had their living ordinance recommends signed by their bishops and were awaiting the stake president's interview. One of them has their regular temple recommend that is due to ...

Quarterly Report - Members Sealed to Spouse
On the Quarterly Report, line 1 indicates the number of members sealed to a spouse. In a YSA stake, that number should generally be low or non-existent. However, on Leader and Clerk Resources, when I look at the members who fall in that list, their main profile says that they are "Sealed to Spo...

Stake President Elders Quorum
It has been my experience that the Stake President holds regular interviews with each Elders Quorum President from every ward; however, I cannot find anywhere in the Handbook of Instructions that this is supposed to happen. Has this been happening solely on tradition? I see that the Bishop interview...

Re: Fast Offerings expenses over the ward limit
When a fast offerings recipient reaches the $5,000 threshold, does MLS alert the clerk letting him know that they've reached the limit? I know you can track it on the financial statements, but does the system automatically alert us of any recipient receiving more than the allowed amount?
