Re: New LDS.org Search

Excellent work! I was one of those who turned to google in the past. I am liking the new search results. They are organzied neater, it's easier to see what the results are, less duplication, all around great!

Chrome Aw, Snap!

I had a member of our ward call and ask for some help with searching on LDS.org. Everytime she did a search, she got an "Aw, Snap!" error from Google Chrome. I did a teamviewer session and started my troubleshooting. I did a malware scan, disabled all of the chrome extensions. I deleted he...

Re: lds tools on iphone / ipad off by 1 day following March

I have a related issue. Someone pointed out that an event on March 24 shows it starts an hour early on the iOS LDS tools. It is fine online and on the android LDS Tools. Further investigation revealed that all events after daylight savings are off by an hour on the iPad.

Re: WiFi down again

Once you get beyond 3 access points in a building, you will start to experience co-channel interference as there are only 3 non-overlapping channels available in the spectrum. That is the beauty of a unified wifi system (controller based,) such as the one the Church has deployed. The radio resource...

Re: WiFi down again

Just wanted to share our information in case it helps with troubleshooting. FTX151104WS - Stake Center - First week, the wifi SSID's weren't visible, only wired connections worked. Last week, SSID's were visible, however unable to connect, continually prompted for security key. Firewall has not been...

We aren't using wireless, but we are using an IR repeater over Cat5. Pretty simple to setup if you can get Cat5 between the camera and the location you want to remote control. I paid less than $50 for our setup. Let me know if you want more details.
