EQ Secretary as District Supervisor
Hello- In our EQ, our Secretary has acted as a district supervisor. LCR allowed us to assign the district to the secretary. We were in recently making some adjustments and noticed that the secretary's district was showing unassigned. We tried to fix it, but the secretary no longer shows up in the dr...

Re: Getting Audio right with Virtual Sacrament Meeetings
Update: Today I was running the Zoom meeting remotely, so I was able to hear the audio better. I didn't notice a huge difference between Original Audio On or Off. I did switch the audio to the laptop microphone, and it sounded much better. Except you could hear my helper singing off-key :). If I con...

Re: Getting Audio right with Virtual Sacrament Meeetings
I read in these forums that is you turn “Original Audio” on in your Zoom meeting, it will turn the Zoom audio processing off a d might help pick up the organ and congregation singing. We tried it yesterday, as we had a lot of musical numbers due to Christmas time. I didn’t get to hear it, but Zoom o...

Re: Getting Audio right with Virtual Sacrament Meeetings
Why not try using a comtek or listen hearing device. Connected by 3.5 mm , male at both ends between it and your laptop? There's a number of posts describing the failure or success with attempts at this. If the computer input is a "headset" (TRRS plug), it won't work. Some receivers requi...

Re: CRM for ward membership
This is interesting. I created a notebook in OneNote for this purpose. Very manual and somewhat intensive to manage. However, the data is there. I shared it with the EQ presidency and tried to get the RS presidency on board. The sharing part never really took off (for technical reasons), however, as...

Re: No Ministering Info in iOS or Android apps
This is happening for us as well. I checked with a member of the Bishopric and he reported the same problem.

>> I'm sure the value of text messaging is not lost on the brethren, but that is not the perfect solution for everyone.
In our ward, we miss 50% + due to only having email... And we have all ages - a well mixed ward.
I just left feedback.

Seems that something could be written to interface to Twilio pretty quickly. Just not sure about the costs

SUCCESS: Calendar Feedback
Hey - I just wanted to share a win here... We have several members at the C level in our company, and each use the WebCals feature to import the LDS calendar into Outlook (O365). It stopped working about 4 months ago, and they just reported it to me. I did some initial troubleshooting, and could see...
