Re: Grid lines in classic maps

OK, I finally figured out that you were referring to zooming the browser display rather than the map! (The "zoom to 100%" was baffling me!) Interestingly, that led me to discover that at 80% zoom (and at 400%, which is the only other zoom level that is also a multiple of 80%), the weird li...

Grid lines in classic maps

Anyone else ever see this? One one computer I use (and not on other computers I use), the classic maps show weird gridlines. By "weird" I mean they stay the same size regardless of zoom and regardless of base map. They're nice and straight, very thin and gray, so they might at first glance...

Set default volume for media?

At inopportune times, GL media starts playing the content currently showing. (It seems, as I look into it more, to be a local problem associated with my bluetooth connection, as opposed to a GL bug.) To prevent it, I'll mute the volume in the Media tab. It's an effective workaround, but every time I...

Media starts playing

GLWin automatically starts reading aloud (or playing the associated media for) the content in the active Home tab. My experience has shown me that this happens when the system speaker changes (I often have bluetooth devices connected). Not only does it play unsolicited, if I press Pause (on the Medi...

References pane auto-scroll sync with content pane?

My brittle brain's memory is about 95% certain that until recently the References pane automatically scrolled in sync with the main content. ( OK, I didn't screen record it, nor have I exercised the due diligence in looking up any documentation that this was indeed a feature. ) It doesn't now. The l...

Copy a note?

I have a note that gets added to many passages, with very little change.
Currently, I can copy the text within the note and paste that text within a new note, but I lose the note's title, all the text formatting, and the assigned notebooks.
Is there a handy way to copy the entire note?
Thanks,
D.G.

Re: Download video of Individual General Conference Talks

Where are you guys looking? I went to gc.churchofjesuschrist.org, clicked on first talk in the Saturday Evening session. When I got into the talk, I hover over the video and I have download options. An issue is you have to go into each talk, you can't do them all from one page. Video download links...

How to change default notebook?

It seems I have designated one of my (eleven) notebooks as "default", though I don't remember doing that--or even how to do it.
If a default notebook is necessary, I would prefer it be a different one, but I don't know/remember how to make or change that designation.
Thanks,
D.G.
