Re: iPad Pro 256GB Download all possible?

This is absolutely something you'd want to do, and this post answered my challenge! My problem is with all the various books, lesson manuals etc. When you get a new device and install Gospel Library nothing is installed. No Scriptures, no primary manuals, no conference talks, no Ensign magazine edit...

Re: Tithing Declaration of Children

We checked the handbook and all it says is church headquarters will give direction on tithing settlement. I would think if someone is not paying tithing they are a non-tithe payer. I don't see anything that says give children the same designation as their parents?

Re: Tithing Declaration of Children

So it implied that children are non-tithe payers now? I don't have a copy of the announcement for tithing settlement.

Re: BRANCH Clerk in Disciplinary Councils

The main paragraph causing confusion is 6.10.1 under the heading "Branch Disciplinary Councils in a Stake". But the additional paragraph you highlighted in 6.10.4 does seem to back what I'm saying on the need to be there in order to complete the report out.

BRANCH Clerk in Disciplinary Councils

We are a small branch on an American indian reservation that is part of a stake. We pull families from other wards in the stake to help support it. We have some confusion on whether the clerk should be included in BRANCH disciplinary councils. In Handbook 1, section 6.2.3 and 6.2.4 the clerk is not ...

Re: Stake Conference Regional Broadcast 11-8-2015

We have been getting lots of questions if there is a way together a transcript of these talks. It seems a shame toga day such a powerful talk not be available for review by the members.

Latitude/Longitude Coordinates available?

Our branch is out on an Indian reservation with limited addressing. Our branch mission leader has been finding members homes and then noting the GPS coordinates (lat/long). Is there a way to easily use those coordinates to find the members home in the existing maps.lds.org tool, or will I have to lo...

Re: Add the Ward Assigned High Councilor to messaging

I did check Handbook #2 and it does state - 4.4 Ward Council - The ward council includes the bishopric, ward clerk, ward executive secretary, high priests group leader, elders quorum president, ward mission leader, and presidents of the Relief Society, Young Men, Young Women, Primary, and Sunday Sch...

Re: Add the Ward Assigned High Councilor to messaging

Interesting observation that the Assigned High Councilor is a visitor and should not receive minutes. I had assumed that if they're in the room hearing the confidential information, then having them receive the minutes is no different. However, I will go look at the handbook and think about this fur...

Re: Anyway to improve Send a Message to include HTML?

For general membership yes, maintaining distribution lists is a pain. Generally the PEC and Ward Council leadership is not changing too often. So maintaining my own distribution lists wouldn't be that big of a deal. However, again my preference is to use this church provided feature. I'm just asking...
