Re: App's for Duty to God progress tracking?

I think my statements were more harsh than I'd intended and I'm very sorry about that. I'm expressing some frustration in not having tools available to simplify the administration of the Duty to God program. I've heard a lot of members express concerns regarding scouting and Duty to God - these are ...

Re: App's for Duty to God progress tracking?

Brethren, As a Branch President in Wisconsin, I am finding it very difficult to track the progress of our Young Men in the Duty to God program. The YW Personal Progress site is impressive - with parent and leadership resources available, it's easy to track the progress of our Young Women. The YM Dut...

Re: Guide to Using Calendar

Brethren, upon further investigation I found that the disappearance of said event title occurs sporadically. Click to create an event, enter thy title, then click upon the "Add event details and location" to bring up the editing page and Lo! Thy title hast entirely disappeared. It is a mar...

Re: Guide to Using Calendar

Brethren of the Calendar Guild: may it be possible, oh respected Calendar Overlords, that the Calendar editing features may forthwith be improved? Yay, the editing features indeed are cumbersome. The creation of an event on the main Calendar page permits only the editing of the title. Sadly, that is...

Re: Sony EVI-D70: Results of first Stake Conference Webcast

WOW! Thanks for the screenshots Kevin - this is a FANTASTIC post for Meetinghouse Webcast! We currently use a tripod-mounted camera at the back-left side of the chapel (near the video port). I'm worried that it's distracting having someone get up and move the camera angle when the speaker changes. S...

Unfortunately, that link doesn't provide us with any new information. *sigh* What is the CURRENT STATUS and PROJECT TIMELINE for the new Local Unit Web Sites (LUWS)? Will we see those in 2012?

Also, I see a lot of children, as well as adults, taking the sacrament with their left hand. I was always taught you should use your right hand, unless you have a medical issue which prevents you from doing so. I've always thought that should be taught in primary as well. Elder Russel M Nelson addr...

LOL. The other option is to use edible sacrament cups. Potato-based cups that you just chew and swallow, they come in regular, ranch, and Bar-B-Que flavors. ;)

Boundary Realignment App

Currently, Stake Presidencies spend tens or hundreds of hours noodling boundary realignments. From old-school push-pin maps to MLS (with proprietary stake "geocodes") to more current LDS Maps scenarios, a lot of time is consumed in figuring out how to best align boundaries. But by leveraging LDS Map...

LDS Maps Wish List

The maps application is marvelous! Kudos to the team that worked on that! Question: will the next version of maps include a feature for Stake Presidencies to see stats on local units? (Number of families, Priesthood holders [Aaronic & Melchizedek], etc.) Also, can we add a feature to push/pull bound...
